WE are analog kids

A coalition of parents, educators, and community members dedicated to helping 21st century kids live their best offline lives. We are here to educate, spread awareness, and advocate for systematic change away from a screen-based childhood back toward a play-based childhood.

About Us

Our vision: For all of Fishers and all of North Indy to be an environment where kids of all ages are free from unnecessary screen usage - at home and at school - so that they can build social, academic, and emotional skills that set them up for long-term wellbeing.

We are for:We are not:
Cell Phone Free Schools - bell to bellAgainst digital literacy - kids need digital skills, not education themed games
Pen, Paper, and Books in SchoolsA Political Movement - our kids wellbeing is a bipartisan issue
Increasing free play - before, during, and after schoolAgainst accessibility - those who need devices to support a disability should always have them.
Responsible Restrictions on EdTechWanting to judge parents, make them feel bad for where they are at, or tell them how to parent.
Reasonable childhood independenceAnti-equity - the use of technology actually increases equity gaps in learning and excess screen-time disproportionally effects lower socio-economic kids
